Stevenage Halloween House

25 year old James Creighton decorated his home in Stevenage with all sorts of Halloween favourites - including corpses cobwebs and skeletons - earlier this month, as he has done for several years, to raise money for Cancer Research UK having lost his grandmother to cancer several years ago.

However, to his horror he received a visit from the local police who advised him that they had been contacted by a parent to report that his decorations are too scary - "Apparently their child starts crying every time they walk past my house" said Mr Creighton.

Last year Mr Creighton raised £1100 for the charity and this year he is already up to nearly £1400.

He has said that he will not remove or cover up his decorations, despite the police visit, as he wants to continue raising money for the cause.
